Dear Jim. . Diane was a favorite second cousin. We were raised at Eyota/Viola MN area and had some confirmation classes together at St. Paul's UCC. We took 3 years of confirmation in those years. Laura, Jim, and family - What a truly wonderful woman and example of true light and laughter that Diane is and always was. I will never forget her laugh and sitting around the Hankes family table for her home cooked dinners and ALWAYS a dessert. She would say it was for Jim, but she she was born with a mouth full of self-proclaimed sweet teeth herself. The warmth that radiated from how she lived her life will always be a part of myself and anyone else who was fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Sending you all so much love and comfort now and forward.
