Dolly, Kim, Jon, and Keri. I extend my sincere and deepest sympathies for your loss. Having been out of the area, I just now heard of Don's passing. Don was a genuinely favorite colleague across the hall on the third floor of the red brick school in Mayville who was always supportive of our science program. He was a well liked professional educator. I will never forget when he invited me to sign up for the armed services where he said he "played a 'major roll' in the U.S. army." His sense of humor was a part of his upbeat, positive demeanor. He served the school district, his community, and our beloved country with distinction. He will be sorely missed.
Sending my deepest condolences to Dolly and family. Don lived a life of service to others in so many ways, an example for all of us. I appreciated his kindness and help when I was in a time of need. "Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." --l TIM 4:12
God bless.
I didn't know Donnie well but always saw him as a person that was respected and well liked. My condolences.
My condolences to the family. I have good memories of middle school because of Mr. Roll. He struck fear in most of us, but when you got in trouble, he was fair. Mercy when mercy was needed, and a firm hand when a firm hand was needed. Mostly, I was lucky enough to get mercy! Again, my condolences.
