Donald R. “Frog” Krueger, age 67, of Beaver Dam, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at his home, after a long and courageous battle with cancer

Friends and family may call on Thursday, July 26, 2007, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. A prayer service will follow the visitation at 7:00PM at the funeral home on Thursday, July 26, 2007. Fr. Michael Wild will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick”s Cemetery on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM.

Donald Raymond Krueger was born on April 25, 1940, in Burnett, the son of Raymond and Frances (Arndt) Krueger. He was united in marriage to Ann Werner in October of 1963, at St. Patrick”s Catholic Church. Donald was a 1958 graduate of the Beaver Dam High School and worked at Monarch Range for many years. He then started his own auto body repair business called Don”s Auto Body of Beaver Dam. He was an avid race fan and was the owner of a stock car in the 60s and 70s that raced at Beaver Dam, Slinger, Columbus, Oregon and Rockford, IL. He was also a fan of NASCAR and enjoyed the outdoors. He especially valued his time will his daughter Erin.

Survivors include his daughter, Erin Krueger of Beaver Dam, his two sisters, Kathryn (Alfred) Schauer of Fox Lake and Marilyn Koerner of Beaver Dam, his former brother-in-law, Ken Koerner of Beaver Dam, long-time friends, Tina Weinheimer of Fox Lake and Bobbie Jo Plummer of Fox Lake, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ann Krueger on December 26, 1986, his infant daughter, Donna Rae in 1968, and his cherished friend, Jim Heiling.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the family are suggested.

Erin, Thank you so much for your phone call and including my family! Annie and Donnie were always so giving and good to me. They never had a bad word to say about anyone.
