Georgia is one person that touched my life. She was one person that always had a smile on her face even when it was crazy in the Boutique. Georgia was one great person that helped my husband and I pick out tuxedo's and bridesmaid dresses for our wedding back in 1998. She will be missed, my condolence are with her family.
In earlier years, we so enjoyed Georgia's visits to our store. She always brought a beautiful smile and a happy attitude with her! Our condolences to you, Jed and Jason, on the loss of your Mother. May God be with you and bless you at this difficult time.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of our dear friend, Georgia. She was a very kind and considerate person, always telling something funny to put a smile on one's face. She will be deeply missed. My thoughts & prayers will be with you all always...
My deepest sympathy to your family on the passing of Georgia. She will be missed by all. God Bless, Diane Anderson
Butch''s family lived next door to mine when I was a young child. Wonderful people. I was driving through Horicon one day this past summer and stopped downtown for ice cream. Butch was getting out of his car around the corner from his house and train shop, next to where I had parked. I stopped to say hello and asked him if he knew my cousin from Brookfield (with ties to Horicon) who is a great train enthusiast. Butch invited me into his shop where I got a quick education on different train models and today''s market conditions for them, as well as the Highway 33 construction project. He was jovial and delightful and it was a rewarding visit. Upon departing, I told Butch that he had his mother''s smile, which seemed to please him. I told him I hoped to see him again one day. That won''t happen in Horicon, but I sure am glad I took the time that day. It''s always worth taking the time. My condolences to Butch''s family. sincerely, Dennis Macheel

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Butch. I only talked to him a few weeks ago and told him that I would be over soon to pick up some model railroading supplies. He said he looked forward to seeing me. I am a railroad engineer in Portage and first met Butch when he would drive to Portage and always have some of the newest model railroad stuff for Arnie, me and whoever else would be interested. He also took my picture once, I am the engineer leaning out the window on a Canadian Pacific train near Reeseville. I believe Butch had the photo blown up and put on his living room wall for a while, anyway that''s me in the window. He also gave me a 8x10 copy of it and I have treasured it to this day. I always looked forward to trips to his store not only for the deals but to just visit and catch up with Butch. He was the best and will be missed. Please accept my deepest sympathy to your family. Sincerely, Steven James Portage, Wisconsin

to the donald "butch" schwanke family----I was surprised and then sadenned to read about the death of butch! It takes awhile for the word-of-mouth to get to Mother''s Day Restaurant. However it did! I recall when butch was an alderperson and how he gave back to the community. He will be missed by more than his train buddies. My sincerest condolences to each of you. Heads up! r g sharkey, neighbor
