Earl E. Kluz

Earl E. Kluz, age 82, of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.

Visitation for Earl will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon on December 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at church beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark Brandl officiating. Burial will be at St. Petri Cemetery near Theresa.

Earl E. Kluz was born on November 1, 1943, to the late Paul J. and Ella (Warmka) Kluz, Jr. On October 21, 1967, he was united in marriage with Janice L. Giese in Waupun.

Earl farmed his entire life, beginning as a dairy farmer before later focusing on raising crops and steers. A dedicated and hardworking farmer, he was largely self-taught, learning welding, carpentry, engine repair, and countless other skills necessary to keep the farm running. For the past six years, Earl worked side by side with his son, Jeff, farming together and rebuilding Deutz tractors. Earl loved to polka dance—so much so that it was through dancing that he met his beloved wife, Janice. There were a few things Earl always made time for: watching the Green Bay Packers, enjoying a good fish fry, and being there whenever a family member needed his help.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Kluz; five children, Ginger Lennon of North Carolina, Joanne Joy (Willie) Owens of Pardeeville, Jeffrey Daniel Kluz of Juneau, Russell Allen Kluz of South Milwaukee, and Allen Earl (Leah) Kluz of Holmes Beach, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Samantha Lennon, Alyssa Lennon, Cody Owens, Brett Owens (Anna Wren), Kylie Owens, Danica Owens, Aleksander Kolesnichenko, Calvin Kluz, Daniel Kluz, Ashley (Connor) Ifkewitsch, Tara Kluz, Rachel Kluz, and Norah Kluz; twelve siblings, David, John (Pat), Eugene, Dennis, Anthony (Sharon), Karen, Mary (Brian), Teresa (Judd), Kay (Lee), Joan (Timothy), Patrick (Kim) and Jerome; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Kathleen Steger; his brother, Joseph Kluz, Sr.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anelda and Wilbert Giese; and his brother-in-law, Ronald Giese.
