Rest in peace Mr. Ritter. You were a remarkable teacher whose passion for knowledge ignited the flames of curiosity in all of us. Your quick smile will be missed at church. My condolences to his family.
Art, like music is a universal language and we thank Earl for his long lasting inspiration.
Earl spent his time on earth well. He made an impact on so many over the years. I am thankful that I met him and was able to learn from him.
Earl was the most gentle person I ever met. He was on outstanding educator and served as an inspiration to all of us who taught with him at Horicon High School. Anita was at is side always. My Condolences to his family.
Our deepest sympathy to the Ritter family. I still have a drawing of wildlife (geese) that I bought that Earl created!
A great remembrance from a very talented art teacher! I'm sure a favorite teacher for many students at Horicon High!
Condolences to Earl’s wife, family and friends! Mr. Ritter was very instrumental in setting a path for me as an aspiring young artist. His knowledge and kind hearted teaching methods created an atmosphere well needed for that high school student. As my art career developed over the years we stayed in touch. I always made sure for him to know that my path was set by his teachings! He was always encouraging and very proud of all the students that he had the chance to work with! Such a wonderful soul…May You Rest In Paradise! Prayers for his family 🙏🙏🙏
Rest in peace, Mr. Ritter. You played a major role in my not dropping out of high school. Your kindness and compassion opened the doors to a very good life. Your memory is a blessing.
So many wonderful memories of Mr. Ritter and art class at HHS. Such a talented man and kind person. Thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Mr Ritter has such a special place in my heart. He saw my talents and guided me to take the next step….especially the ones that were uncomfortable! He had some amazing gifts and shared them with so many of his students, empowerment, gratitude and encouragement were just a few.
Thank you, Mr Ritter :). Sending strength and love to your family.
I am so grateful for him… I had him in my art classes he allowed me in his room anytime I wanted to work on drawing painting or ceramics!!! It was a healing room to share my art with many… just wished I saved my art pieces I had made but time for me to get back into my art mode again… my deepest condolences to all his energy will be missed!!!
