Edgar H. Mueller, age 83, of Beaver Dam, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Rainbow Hospice Care in Johnson Creek.
The visitation will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:50 p.m. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in the Town of Oak Grove, Dodge County, Wisconsin with military honors provided by the John E. Miller American Legion Post #146.
Edgar Herbert was born on February 21, 1941 in Juneau, Wisconsin to Edmund and Adeline (Arndt) Mueller. After graduating from high school, he went to UW Madison for farm courses. Ed proudly served in the United States Army. He eventually met Jean M. Stark and they were united in marriage on August 12, 1967 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waterloo. He worked several years in maintenance. Ed’s passion was hunting; he traveled to the same ranch in Wyoming for 50 seasons of deer hunting. He had a home in Beaver Dam and later purchased a campsite in Montello. This became his second home and he also gained a second family. Ed enjoyed spending time with family and friends and he loved to travel. It didn’t matter where one was going, he was always willing to go along. He liked to watch all Wisconsin sports and was fascinated with bird watching as well. A very prominent moment in Ed’s life was going on the Badger Honor Flight in September of 2017.
Ed will be missed by his children, Linda Espinosa (Cory Hansen) and Gregory (Doreen) Mueller, all of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Nicholas Kintgen (Mariah Thompson), Damian Metz, Cody (Samantha) Metz, Karissa Metz, Carmen (Alexander) Shute, and Juanathon Espinosa; great grandchildren, Tatum, Ryker, Francis IV, Jeremiah, and Amelia; two brothers-in-law, Wilbur Stark and John (Charlene) Stark; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Jean in 2007.

We have known ED for 30 plus year' s as our camp ground neighbor. He always had a smile on his face. Lot's of conversation around the fire, mainly funny but also serious one's too, learned a lot from him . We will miss him buzzing around on his golf cart, he always had time to stop and say hi. If you wanted a cold beer Ed was your man.. Friend's like him don't come along everyday. He will truly be missed by many.

I have good memories of your dad (and mom) visiting my parents and playing cards to the we hours of the night. Also, your dad was always a trouper and would go with my dad to those Packer Games when it was below zero degrees and too cold for my mom to go.
Your dad will be missed by many. He had a big heart and was full of fun.
