Edna R. Mulvaney, age 84, of Lowell, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at the Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again at the United Church of Christ in Lowell on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at church on Wednesday, beginning at 11:00 AM. Dr. Rev. Carol Lange will officiate. Burial will be at Lowell Cemetery.
The former Edna Ruth Schultz was born on January 1, 1923, in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin to the late William and Ida (Klentz) Schultz. On October 10, 1942, she was united in marriage with Donald Mulvaney in Lowell, Wisconsin. Edna worked at Monarch Range in Beaver Dam, as a cook at Lowell School and later at Heim Cheese Company in Lowell. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Lowell and was a past member of the Lowell VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Mulvaney of Lowell; her three children, Dennis (Sharon) Mulvaney of Lowell, Terri (Carl) Wolff of Lowell and Holly (special friend-Don Kennedy) Mulvaney of Beaver Dam, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Isabel Schultz of Lowell and Caroline Schultz of Beaver Dam, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Herbert Schultz, Leslie Schultz, and Raymond Schultz, and four sisters, Vera Schoenwetter, Viola Schoenwetter, Bernice Westphal, and Hazel Wendt.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Edna R. Mulvaney”s name to the charity of one”s choice.
The Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville is serving the family.
