We are greatly saddened to hear of your loss. We will always remember Ed as the outgoing, fun guy that he always was. Our favorite story will always be about Ed and the first-time baby sitter when Ed was staying with Nina and Terry. We know what a tremedous family the Nehl''s have and we know there is great comfort in such a remarkable family. You will be in our prayers as we all mourn his loss. Best Wishes, Russell & Charlotte Woodruff

On behalf of Waterloo VFW Post 6614, we would like to offer our deepest condolences. Ed was a friend to many of us and we enjoyed his visits. Dodge County Council meetings were always more interesting when Ed was there as commander or delegate. We also fondly remember him from Memorial Day of a few years ago when he was the featured speaker at the Waterloo program. Please share this message with all of Ed

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dear Nehls Family, We are deeply saddened by the loss of your father. We truly enjoyed the honor of meeting him during our July visit to Wisconsin. His keen sense of humor and love for his family was very evident. You all (ya''ll) have a lot to be proud of. As we have read the newspaper articles over the internet, it is clear that Ed was well respected by everyone in Dodge County. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
