Elaine A. Neuendorf, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the age of 84.
Elaine was born on April 21, 1940 in Beaver Dam to Wesley and Violet Propst. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School. Elaine married her husband Roger on June 26, 1965. She held a variety of professional positions in her life, but especially loved her job and co-workers at Nancy’s Notions in Beaver Dam.
Elaine is survived by her husband Roger, daughter Jill, brother Wayne Propst, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She also considered her dear friends, co-workers, and neighbors as part of her family.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Violet Propst and her sister Eldean Walling.
A visitation will be held at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. Jim Wendt will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam at a later date.
Elaine’s family is grateful to the staff at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Beaver Dam for all the help they provided to her.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Elaine to a favorite charity of one’s choice.
