Emil G. Persha, 89, of N6869 Hwy. 67, Iron Ridge, WI Browns Corners passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Clearview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Juneau, WI.

Emil was born on April 9, 1920, in Iron Ridge, WI, the son of George and Helen Persha. On February 24, 1942, he was united in marriage to Marie Adelmeyer in Mayville, WI.

Emil farmed in the township of Herman, & owned and operated Persha Equipment Sales Browns Corner, WI. Emil was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Mayville, WI, and was a deputy with the Dodge County Sheriff Department. He also enjoyed bowling, cards & dice shaking.

Emil is survived by his wife, Marie, children, Judy (Don) Butler of Horicon, WI, Ronald Persha of Horicon, WI, Marilyn Persha of Horicon, WI, James ( Kathryn) Persha of Iron Ridge, WI, brothers & sisters Steve Persha of Mayville, WI, John Persha of Horicon, WI, Katherine Persha of La Crosse, WI, Mary Gittel of Hartford, WI, Helen (Howard) Roggenbauer of Beaver Dam, WI, 8 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Emil was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dan, Mike, Walter, Nick sisters, Rose & Lucille
