Ernestine “Ernie” Kindy

Ernestine W. “Ernie” Kindy, 96, of Beaver Dam passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam. Ernestine was born the daughter of John H. and Ernestine (Senter) Woolman on November 2, 1919 in Columbus, OH. She was married to Harry Kindy on December 31, 1937. Ernie was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam where she served as an elder and choir member for many years. She was a founding member of the Dodge County Humane Society. She delivered for Meals on Wheels for many years. Ernie enjoyed golf and spending her winters in Florida. Ernie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Kindy and is further survived by other relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death her parents, her husband, Harry in 1993, her son, Harry H. in 2013, and her brother, David S. Woolman. A memorial gathering will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at Noon. The Rev. Chris Davis will officiate.
