Services: Funeral Services for Evelyn will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville with the Bonita Vize officiating.
Visitation: Visitation will also be held on Thursday, November 19 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Entombment will be at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Fond du Lac, WI.
Evelyn B. Louise Frings, 97 years, of Mayville, formally of Theresa passed on to eternal life on Saturday, November 14 at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mayville, WI.

Evelyn was born the daughter of August and Agnes (Wendler) Schultz on January 2, 1912 in Mayville, WI. She married Eugene Frings on August 20, 1932 in Theresa, WI.
Evelyn was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville, WI. She was also involved with the Theresa American Legion Auxiliary Post #270 for over 60 years serving as a past president, secretary, and chaplain. Evelyn was also the past president of the Dodge County Auxiliary and 2nd District Auxiliary. She was also a councilor for Badger Girls State. Evelyn also acted as a past secretary for the Mayville Senior Center. Evelyn also showed her love for the outdoors by being a friend of the Horicon Marsh by volunteering. She also took part as a member of Rachel Circle and a past secretary of St. Pauls Centennial Committee. In her spare time, Evelyn was an avid reader, seamstress, and loved to crochet and play cards. Evelyn had also worked at the Widmer Cheese Cellars and had a wonderful time while she was there.
Evelyn is survived by her six children; Carol (Richard) Ouellette, Florence, AZ., Dennis Frings, Concord, NC., Jayne Young, Columbia, MO., Gene (Pat) Frings, Mayville, WI., Claudia (Richard) Bass, Prescott, AZ., Cynthia Hollis, Murfreesboro, TN., Son-In-Law; David Bartlett, Silt, CO. 20 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and daughter Ardis Bartlett.
