A visitation for Florence will take place on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville from 5 p.m. to 7p.m. as well as Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Trinity Community Center in Huilsburg, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Following the service, interment will take place at the Zum Kripplein Christi Cemetery in the Town of Herman.
Florence was born on April 17, 1948, to Gilmer and Evelyn (Nickel) Christian. She was a proud graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy. On August 15, 1970, Florence was married to the love of her life, Kenneth Dietrich, at Zum Kripplein Christi Ev. Church in the Town of Herman.
Florence spent many years farming alongside her husband Kenneth on their farm in the Town of Herman. She took great pride in farm life and especially enjoyed caring for her cows and calves. The farm was not only her work, but a place filled with many special memories and moments shared with those she loved.
More than anything, Florence treasured her family. She loved spending time with them and cherished the laughter, conversations, and gatherings that brought everyone together. Her warmth, kindness, and love for her family will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
Florence was a longtime member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Huilsburg and was also a member of the Owls and Golden Youth of Iron Ridge. Her faith, family, and community were important parts of her life.
Florence leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Florence is survived by her children: Chad Dietrich of Iron Ridge, Tracy (Richard) Gerth of Kekoskee, and Carrie (Jay) Ripple of Mayville; her grandchildren: Ashley ( Nicholas) Johnson, Mark (Becca Krogmann) Dietrich, Rebecca Dietrich, Dylan Dietrich, Cora (fiancé Cody Sadowski) Gerth, Mason Gerth, Makayla Ripple, Mitchell Ripple, and Mariah Ripple; her two great grandchildren Emma and Maverick; her three sisters: Phillis (Gwyn) Held, LaMae Jacobs, and Patricia (Randall) Sternberg; and her brother-in-law Arnold Dietrich; as well as other relatives and dear friends.
Florence is preceded in death by her loving husband Kenneth in 2018, and her parents.
