Aunt Frannie, as I recall we called her, was such a sweet and wonderful and giving lady, as was Bill. It's been many many years since we went to visit her on the farm. Always had fun running around with you cousins! I am sure you don't remember me, or my brother Bob, but you might remember Alan. I did not know she wrote poetry or was an artist!! I would love to see her works! She resembles my dad, Bob, so much!!! So sad we didn't stay in touch but would LOVE to hear from any of you!!! May God bless you and comfort you during this sorrowful time.
Your cousin KAY

You have my sympathies and prayers. I have thought of her (& Bill) many times. My favorite memory of Fran is when she came to pickup the fallen apples from our apple orchard. She was so tickled to get them. She was going to go home and make some applesauce. To me they were just windfall apples, but she was thinking of all the good things she could make with them. I remember looking across the fields to see their place from ours. I also am thankful for the 4 generations of friendship between the Swans and the Sadowskes. I am sorry, but I cannot make it down for the funeral but you will be in my prayers.

Dear Swan family,
I had the honor of being with Francis every month to serve communion to her through the Befrienders Program at First Lutheran Church. What a blessing she was to me. We talked about our lives and what was happening with our children. How she loved talking about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. And before I left, she always shared her wisdom with me. She surprised me with flowers and cards many times. When I drove out her driveway, I would wonder who got the most out of our time together. God was always present, so I think it was a blessing for both of us. Rest in Peace my dear Sister in Christ. I will never forget our time together.

The last time I saw Aunt Frannie was at my mom's funeral. She looked at our son Colin and said "There is my EuGene". I have never looked at our son that way. Now I have had a very different perspective when we see him. Thank you Aunt Frannie for all your love and Christmas cards.
