Frederick R. Kuhlow, 72, of Fall River passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Beaver Dam Health Care Center.
Frederick was born on August 28, 1950 the son of Roland and Lorraine (Haseleu) Kuhlow in Jefferson, Wisconsin. On September 23, 1986, he was united in marriage with Donna L. (Bowers) Womack in Juneau, Wisconsin.
Fred loved playing Uno, woodworking, working on cars, and tinkering with the grandchildren. In summer he loved fishing and in winter he loved cutting down trees. Fred loved his dogs and will fondly be remembered for his “Ya – Ya” when chatting with his family.
Fred enjoyed his time at The Meadows and we appreciate the special nurses/aids that spent time with him and made it a home.
God took another angel. We have had two fathers in our life and loved them both but he raised us and gave us everything. His world became ours when he took in four rowdy kids that were 14,13,10 and 6 at a crazy time and took us under his wing. Fred was the best father, grandfather and great grandfather we could have asked for. He was truly loved and respected and we were beyond blessed to have him in our life.
Fred will be deeply missed by his daughters: Tammy (Kenny) Bahl of Marshall and Brenda Dowd of Blountstown, Florida and his sons: Phillip (Kristi) Womack of Lake Mills and Charles Bowers of Platteville; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; two sisters Delores Roldoff of Oxford and Judy Jacob of Jefferson; her brother Roland (Kim) Kuhlow of California. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna in 2017, son-in-law Jim Dowd in 2008 and his sister Gladys Krueger.
A Celebration of Fred’s Life is being planned and will be held at a later date.
