G. Tom Cramer, 69, 454 N. Henninger St., Mayville, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, peacefully into the arms of his Lord at home surrounded by his wife and daughter.
Services will be on Thursday, Sept. 3 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mayville at 12:30 p.m. The Rev. Geoffrey Hoy will officiate. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac.
Visitation for Tom will be on Thursday, Sept. 3 at St. Paul Lutheran Church from 10:30 until 12:30 p.m.
Tom was born on Oct. 14, 1939 in Milwaukee, the son of George and Florence (Flasch) Cramer. On Aug. 10, 1963 he was united in marriage to Bonnie Wolter in Watertown.
He was formerly employed at Mayville Engineering Co. and also McClean-Anderson of Milwaukee as a purchasing agent for 15 years; Tom also drove truck, was a bus driver for Mayville Public Schools, did lawn care and most recently was employed as a crossing guard for Mayville Public Schools; served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mayville; a member of the Mayville golf Club and an avid golfer. When he was younger, bowling, baseball and softball were a big part of his life. He loved feeding birds in his backyard, playing cards, dominos and many other games with his family. Tom also loved hearing about and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Bonnie, Mayville; a daughter, Brigette (Michael) Henschel, Neshkoro; sisters and brothers, Carol (Leon) Genz, Oshkosh, Robert (Lois) Cramer, Beaver Dam, Audrey (George) Goesch, Florida, Michael (Marge) Cramer, Mayville, Patricia Cramer, Beaver Dam, Richard (Patti) Cramer, Juneau, Barbara (Tom) Seiler, Horicon, Sharon (Bob) Haase, Beaver Dam, Karen (Dan) Banes, Beaver Dam, Susan (Charlie) Kelm, Beaver Dam, Sandra (Gordon) Arneson, Beaver Dam, Alan (Jean) Cramer, Waukesha; sisters-in-law, Lanet (Willard) Kienast, Mayville, Sharon Schreier, Juneau; brother-in-law, Marlin (Dottie) Wolter, Mayville, Lyle (Flora) Wolter, Mayville; grandchildren, Amalia, Andrew and Alyson Henschel, Neshkoro; Daniel, David and Jessica Feucht of Idaho; great-grandchildren, Rian Feucht, Idaho; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Brenda Lee Feucht; one sister, July Koczka.
