Rev. Mark D. Mckay left a message on September 16, 2009:

Dearest Gwyn and family, Just a quick note to say how saddened I am in your loss- Even tho we have lost touch with each other through many miles and years- I often think of you and your family with fond memories. I read your local daily paper on line and came across this obituary of Garry''s passing and wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts, prayers and memories. When my mother passed a few years ago a friend told me this and I read it daily in affirmation "When someone you love becomes a memory- that memory becomes a treasure'' Remember your treasure always!! With thoughts of healing and love, Reverend Mark D. Mckay

Gwyn, Genna, and Family, I''m so sorry for your loss. I have some great memories of Garry and your family from when I was much younger and our families used to do quite a bit of stuff together. Just know that you are in my prayers, as well as my dads and the rest of our family.

Judy Hein left a message on September 9, 2009:

Dear Genna, I was so sad to hear about your dad. I remember having parent/teacher conferences in 2nd grade at Lincoln with your parents and seeing the love he had for you and your mom. I hope you can eventually replace your sadness with good memories. When my dad died, I received 2 memorable messages that I''d like to share with you. "Sorrow is not forever, love is," and "Perhaps the stars are just holes to Heaven." So I say, "Look up often in the night sky. He''s there!" Take care and my thoughts are with you as you begin your school year. Thinking of you. Love, Mrs. Judy Hein
