Geraldine Margaret Price, age 94, of Iron Ridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Clearview in Juneau, surrounded by her loving family.
Per her wishes, no formal services will be held.
Gerry was born on April 11, 1932, to John and Evelyn (Collien) Kilamet. On September 29, 1950, she married the love of her life, Wallace Price, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and happiness.
Gerry was a loving and devoted woman whose greatest joy was her family. She treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whether sharing stories, celebrating Christmas together, or visiting hot air balloon rallies. The love she gave so freely will live on through the generations she held so dear.
She had a special love for nature, especially birds, and cardinals always brought a smile to her face. Gerry also enjoyed shopping trips to Walmart and Kohl’s, watching QVC, and cheering on her beloved Dallas Cowboys.
One of her favorite adventures was traveling by bus across the country with her sister, Marilyn. Together, they shared countless laughs and created wonderful memories. Gerry collected state magnets along the way, each one a reminder of their special trips and time together.
Gerry’s life was filled with simple pleasures, cherished memories, and, above all, love. Though she will be deeply missed, her family will forever treasure the laughter, stories, and moments they shared. Like the bright red cardinal she loved so much, her memory will continue to appear in unexpected moments, bringing comfort and a smile to those who loved her.
During her final days, Gerry was blessed with the compassionate care and kindness of her wonderful hospice nurses, Missy and Sherry. Their support and gentle presence meant so much to Gerry and her family, and they will always be remembered with heartfelt gratitude.
Gerry was loved beyond words, will be missed beyond measure, and will be remembered always.
Geraldine is survived by her loving children: Gary Price, Ron (Faye) Price, Don (Mary) Price, Jackie (Dean) Waas, Bruce (Sandy) Price, Renee (Mike) Berryman, and Terri (John) Uhing; stepsons Tom and Terry Price; her sister Marilyn Raube; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other dear relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Wallace, in 2009; and her sister, Jessica Genzmer.
