Sorry for the late condolence. Ben & Gladys were my God parents. I remember playing with the girls in the ''50s. We would tear up the neighbor hood until dark and Gladys would call us in. While Ben was telling me stories of his duties as a photographer in WW2 I could hear Gladys stirring a pitcher of Kool-Aid and getting a plate of cookies ready in the kitchen. Ben was always proud of his garden and loved his kohlrabi I have many memories of those days in Beaver Dam and all of the wonderful neighbors, Mrs. Lukow, the Patchinskies and Mrs, Snyder in the brick house on the corner.Once a month they would have a sheepshead game rotating among the families. The card table used is sitting next to me now. Thank you for the memories.

It''s so sad to hear of Mrs. Wild passing. It seems like the ending of an era now that most of the families we grew up with are no longer living there. I remember she and Mr. Wild as the one of the first people to welcome all of us into the neighborhood. I was always fascinated by all the flowers your parents has in their yard and how Mr. Wild and my dad were such good friends. I have many memories of Mrs. Wild and her laughter, always seemed to be so cheerful when we would come over to visit. It was a safe neighborhood to grow up in with all the parents in the neighborhood looking out for all of us and I am glad that we had the opportunity to share it with your family. Take care and keep only the happy memories of your mom and dad.
