Gladys E. Mildbrandt, age 97, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Christian Home in Waupun.
Funeral services for Gladys will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville with Rev. Traci Maass officiating. Visitation for Gladys will be held at church on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville.
Gladys was born on March 20, 1926, to Oscar and Lucy (Schellpfeffer) Puls in the Town of Hubbard. Gladys was a graduate of Horicon High School. On January 18, 1947, she was united in marriage to Warren Mildbrandt at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville where she was also a faithful member.
Gladys was creative and artistic. She enjoyed spending time sewing as well as gardening. She also looked forward to travelling with Warren on bus trips. Gladys treasured the time she was able to spend with her family and will be greatly missed.
Gladys is survived by her daughter Diane (Yogin) Mehta; daughter-in-law Sue Mildbrandt; 4 grandchildren: Chad (Jennifer) Mildbrandt, Kevin (Martha) Mildbrandt, Kristi (Keith) Martin, and Christopher Mehta; her 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother Wilbert (Ardis) Puls; sister Janice Fischer; and 1 sister-in-law Norma Puls. Gladys is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Warren; 2 sons Dennis and Dale; and 2 brothers Kenny and Harvey.

We are deeply sorry for the loss of Gladys. She lived a long wonderful life. She is now resting comfortably with her husband and sons, Dale and Dennis. We were great friends of Dennis and miss him. They are angels in Heaven looking down and watching over family.

My mother (Zorka Falk) was a classmate of Warnie and I went to visit Gladys and Warnie when they lived in Beaver Dam with my mother. I remember her talking so fondly of your mom and dad when they would have class reunions and my Uncle Bob Falk was a special friend of your dad. I'm sorry for your loss, but am sure your dad and brothers were there to welcome home your mother. Dale was a classmate of mine. May you remember all the good times you had as a family.
