When I saw Gloria at out Madison post polio meeting in May; I would not have thought she''d be gone. She did speak of some breathing problems. I always enjoyed her frankness and humor. It''s a wonderful way to go and not suffer for a long time. Gloria will be missed. With sympathy, Gail Kempfer

To the family of Gloria Lockwood, I work at Beaver Dam hospital. I am a phlebotomist and met Gloria when she first came in and was pretty ill. But a day later she was perking up and when I walked in she gave me a huge smile. I won''t forget that. I was shocked and saddened when I found out she had passed later that night. I just wanted you to know that Gloria was one of my first patients at the hospital and I will always remember that smile! Kari Kari
