Harold W. Davidson, 92, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2007 at his son and daughter-in-law”s home where he had been living the past year.
Private family services have been held.
Harold was born in the Town of Freedom in Sauk County, Wisconsin on April 19, 1915, the son of William and Emma (Gall) Davidson. He was married to Evelyn Kaldenberg on June 6, 1941 in Cambridge, Wisconsin.
Harold served in the U.S. Army for 41 months during WWII. After his discharge in November, 1945, he pursued different lines of work and finally settled on the office supply business in 1949, first in Plymouth, WI, then in Whitewater, WI, and finally in Beaver Dam. In 1966, he and his wife established and operated Davidson Office Supply until 1983. After selling the business he continued as an employee until 1993. He then worked for 9 seasons at The Wisconsin Cheeseman in Sun Prairie, WI. He was a member of the American Legion in Plymouth, WI, and the Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam.
Survivors include one son, Gary (Faith) Davidson of Beaver Dam, four grandchildren, Jason, Christal, Tamara and Lucas; four great grandchildren, Hailey, Elias, Gage and Zane; two sisters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; four sisters; and three brothers.
