Helene M. Berezinski

Helene M. Berezinski, 69, of Beaver Dam passed away suddenly on November 27, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

Helene was born on July 31, 1955 the daughter of Raymond and Rosemary (Speck) Kurlowski in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She was a graduate of Pulaski High School.

Helene was a loving dedicated wife and mother and enjoyed caring for her family.  She was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam.  She enjoyed traveling. Her travels were highlighted by a trip to Hawaii to celebrate their 25^th wedding anniversary, Disney trips, Niagara Falls and Washington DC, among many others.  She enjoyed music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s especially Barbara Streisand and the Bee Gees.  Helene was an extreme Disney fanatic and was passionate about collecting figurines and other Disney memorabilia.  She enjoyed embroidery and gambling. Helene was affectionately known as Mrs. Muffs.

Helene will be deeply missed by her husband of 49 years, David “Muffs”; her son Edward and her daughter Lisa; her brother Jeff (Pam) Kurlowski and her niece and goddaughter Mandy Ronczka.  She is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her parents.

A visitation for Helene will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Ed Cody officiating. A dinner will be served after the funeral at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
