When they describe neighbor, George is the best example. He was there in the good and bad times. No matter how bad of shift I had, he made ya smile and was the ONLY one to call me Craigly and get away with it. Now you can mow lawns, embellish your singing abilities and know that we'll take care of Kay.

I will miss Uncle George so much! He was one of the best people I know. Even during this terrible disease, he always wanted everyone else to smile. He had such a great sense of humor and a way of putting everyone at ease. He was the best father, husband and uncle! I will always be his Beaner! I love you Uncle George! Let God take you to paradise!

In his younger years, George was a great dear freind of mind and I have known him for a long time, even at Deere. Fun to be around and an on-the- go guy. Bless you George and God is waiting for your wit and humor.

Grampa just wanted to say Thank You! Now you can hold Xaviers hand and walk together as angels with your great grandson and go fishing! My great Uncle Howie. By now he''s holding Aunt Fran''s hand. She can be at peace knowing he''s with her. I''m sure he''s brought a deck of cards with him. With the size of family that he has waiting for him, there will be a celebration for sure. I feel happy for you, but I''m sure going to miss you. My prayers are with everyone there. Jim

I had the pleasure of working with Howie at Clearview as a nursing student. He was wonderful a wonderful man to work with. My sympathy is with your family.

Uncle Howie had a way of making people feel special. One night at my Gramma Benter''s bar I was sick and Uncle Howie sat me on his lap, sang a soft song in my ear then picked me up and danced while he held me. It was the closest I will ever get to being Cinderella. I must admit now that as a child I was a little jealous of the Hinkes girls when I realized he was their Grampa...as an adult I just treasure the memories.
