Ida M. Holbach

Ida M. Holbach, 99, of Hartford and formerly of Burnett passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Hillside Manor Nursing Home.

She was born on December 18, 1925 the daughter of Alfred and Margaritha (Zimmermann) Huggler.  She was a 1943 graduate of Juneau High School.  She was united in marriage with Wilfred F. Holbach on July 19, 1947 in Waupun, Wisconsin.

Ida enjoyed being a wife and mother and caring for her family. She and her husband worked side by side for many years on the family farm.  Ida was a member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.  Ida and Willie loved to go polka dancing.

She is survived by her daughters: Nancy (Jerome) Fehring of Hartford, Maribeth Bruni of Juneau; 5 grandchildren: David (Kristal) Fehring of Colorado Springs, CO, Denise (Tom) Zuern of Hartford, Shelly (Steve) Coron of Watertown, Eric (Keely) Bruni of Beaver Dam and Kristy Bruni of Fitchburg; 8 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Jean Holbach-Bonner of Juneau.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wilfred, her son Paul Holbach, grandson Brett Bruni, great grandson Landon Fehring, son-in-law Leland Bruni, brother and sister-in-law Alvin and Christine Huggler and many brothers and sisters-in-law.

A visitation for Ida will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Stratman officiating.  Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton, Wisconsin.
