Ida W. Goeller

Ida W. Goeller, age 94, of Beaver Dam, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at her home.

The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The memorial service will follow at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Ida Walburga was born on March 2, 1930 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Alois and Ida (Frisch) Berndobler. She was united in marriage with Joseph C. Goeller on February 8, 1947 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Ida farmed with her husband in the Town of Beaver Dam, most of her life. She had hardworking hands with a gentle touch. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her greatest accomplishment and she enjoyed being a part of their day-to-day lives.

Ida is survived by her children, Clifford (Krista) Goeller, Steven Goeller, Kenneth (Rita) Goeller, and Mary Goeller, all of Beaver Dam; daughter-in-law, Cyndy Goeller of Kissimmee, FL; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, John Berndobler of Winter Garden, FL and sister-in-law, Marne Berndobler of Beaver Dam; other relatives and friends. She is reunited in Heaven with her parents; husband; son, Richard; brother, Frank Berndobler; and great grandson, Brandon Goeller.

The family extends their greatest appreciation to the staff at Hillside Homecare and Hospice, especially Ida’s caretakers, Rita, Ally and Jen.
