Irene Margaret Jacobs, age 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026, at her home in the Village of Kekoskee, WI.
Irene was born on August 28, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Mary and Stanley Papuga. On May 10, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart, Harold Ellsworth Jacobs Jr.
Irene is survived by her children: Sandra (Greg) Roesch, Keith (Doreen) Jacobs, and MaryGaye (Dan) Tate;
grandchildren: James (Kim) Roesch, Jessie (Christian) Cadavid, Kristi (Justin) Weber, Kyle (Kellie) Jacobs, and Matt (Bethany) Tate;
great grandchildren: Ethan, Owen, Colton, Kylie, Remi, Ross, Reis, Addie, Charlie, Eliza, and Bennie; as well as other relatives and dear friends.
Irene is preceded in death by her loving husband Harold in 2001; her grandson Danny in 2005; and her mother Mary in 1987 and stepfather John Artim in 1980.
Per her wishes, a private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
