Isabel J. Schultz, age 89, of Lowell, died on Monday, April 20, 2009, at the Golden Living Center in Watertown.

Visitation for Isabel will be held Salem Ev. Lutheran Church in Lowell on Friday, April 24, 2009 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Funeral Services for Isabel will follow at church on Friday, beginning at 11:00 AM. Rev. Paul Vander Galien will officiate. Burial will be in the Lowell Cemetery.

The former Isabel June Lee was born on June 11, 1919 in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Emil & Hattie (Krueger) Lee. She was united in marriage with Leslie Schultz on September 14, 1940 at Salem Ev. Lutheran Church and their marriage was blessed with two sons. Isabel was a lifelong resident of Lowell and also a lifelong member of Salem Ev. Lutheran Church. She was the lead cook at Dodgeland School for many years.

Isabel is survived by two sons, Gene (Judy) Schultz of Juneau and James (Joan) Schultz of Fort Atkinson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two brothers, Kenneth (Betty) Lee of Sun Prairie and Wayne (Ev) Lee of Woodruff, two sisters, Ione Kuehl of Madison and Joanne Kasperson of North Boro, MA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie on October 13, 1967, one grandson, Elliott Schultz, three brothers, Melvin, Gerald and Ralph Lee, and one nephew, Gene Lee.

The family suggests that memorials be made in Isabel J. Schultz”s name to the Salem Ev. Lutheran Church of Lowell.

I best remember Izzy as a kind, gentle woman with a very big heart. She was head cook at the Dodgeland Middle School where I was a secretary. She was the best cook ever!! I loved visiting with her and always stayed in touch with her after she retired. I will miss her and her kind ways. She was a wonderful friend. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
