Great elder Elm
Elder, grand, and tall, wisest Elm.
Your strength sheltering many.
I looked on you from low.
Full of awe and wonder, an ideal lifted high.
A rare, unwavering, pure pillar of the forest.
Through dark sky and storm, unshakable, selfless and kind.
May the roots you set, continue running deep
May the seeds of your wisdom, be carried far and sown well.
To achieve half your stature, in service to others
As grand an achievement, as any might dare wish.
I pray to someday be half the man you were.
Eagle spirit, soar high, fly far.
Noble wolf, watch your pack, protect them.
Great bear, be still, your rest be long and peaceful.
Grand turtle, May we continue to carry on reliably in your wisdom.
In my silent moments, I will listen for you on the four winds.
Until we meet again may all I do honor you.
Tess,
I'm sorry to read about Ivan. He was one of my most favorite co-workers at Chrysler and I still remember when Tom and I visited for a day at your house. The parade and cookout were also a lot of fun.
My heart and prayers will be with during these difficult times,
Karen (and Tom) Hargrave

Ivan was
a member of
Local 75 UAW worked at Chrysler. He was a member of our Local 75
Retiree board and could count on Ivan for helping people that needed help.
It is with heavy heart, that I read of Ivan's passing. We knew each other for a very short period of time, but in that time, I knew that I had met a friend for life. He and I were bunk mates in Basic Training, at Fort Lewis, Washington. After Basic, we went different ways, but we wrote, and we kept in touch. I looked forward to his Christmas cards and the news from Wisconsin. I will miss him. I pray that the Lord takes him and keeps him, since I know him to be one of the best! Please Lord, give Tess and his family, strength.
Ivan was a very nice person. I remember him coming to Parkview school and helping in my classroom. He had such a nice personality and so helpful. Cherish the memories. They will get all of you through this difficult time.
I want to say I'm so sorry for your loss to the family I'm a friend of laken and I have met Ivan and he will be missed but not forgotten 😞 much love to the family Liz
