Jack R. Davis, Sr., age 78, of Horicon, died on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
In keeping with his wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
Jack Russell was born on June 7, 1945 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Edward W. and June (Moffatt) Davis. He was united in marriage with Mary Hurley. Jack was a master painter and stainer on homes, and jack of all trades.(pun intended). He was a hard worker and used those skills to help his children and grandchildren on many home projects. In retirement, Jack enjoyed watching old movies in his spare time.
Jack is survived by his children, Jack Davis, Jr. of Milwaukee, Tracy (Scott) McCue of Milwaukee, Matthew (Christina) Davis of Horicon, Melissa (Tim) Hoffmann of Waupun, Sean (Christine) Davis of Horicon, Nathan Davis of Horicon, and Amanda Davis of Kentucky; grandchildren, Joshua and Jenna, Duncan, Michael (Leah) and Melanee (Jake), Megan (Jesse), Erin (Kyle), and Evan, Shayla(Dominic), Felicia(Jonathan), Jaden and Savannah; siblings, Larry (JoAnn) Davis, William Davis, Sharon Kennedy, Cynthia Davis-Beech, Marietta (Howie) Duncan, Doug Davis, Nancy (Bill) Stolze, Betty Kay Pulda, and Lisa Davis; Great grandchildren Jude, Audrey, Hudson Marshall, Casey, Dahlia, Coy, Anastasia, Demetrius, and numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and several siblings.
