Dear Drinkwine family,
Sending love and my condolence. Jim was a generous person . Example--if my car was stalled, he would send someone as soon as possible to charge the battery. Wouldn't accept any payment-- "cookies or doughnuts for the shop guys would be great". Will miss his big smile and wave. Mayville lost a great guy.
We are sorry for the loss of Jim. He was a sweet and great guy. We will miss him dearly.
With great sympathy, Jenny and Anessa
Dear Norma and Family,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Bill will always have good memories of working with Jim at JM car dealership. We enjoyed running in to him when he would visit his Mom at Prairie Ridge, always friendly and smiling. May God wrap you in His loving arms and give you peace. Bill and Kay
Sorry 😞. May you live in heaven.
I am so very sorry for your loss. No matter when I called your dad over about something with my car, he had someone here immediately. He was a wonderful, caring man. He will be missed.
He was a great person and fun to talk to. A very hard worker and always tried to please everyone. He will be missed.
Jim was an amazing guy who always had a positive attitude on life. He didn't just fix our cars; he also was a friend and coached our youngest son in Leroy Baseball. Thoughts and prayers to your family during this difficult time.
Broke my heart on Monday afternoon when I heard of his passing, I had just talked with him Sunday afternoon... Jim always had a smile and always treated me and my kiddo good...most of the time I'd try to run in and out but I'd always get into a conversation with him and whoever else was arou
Our deepest sympathy to the family of Jim Drinkwine. He sold us many a car through the years! Still driving the last one he sold me! Gone way too soon. Prayers to the whole family.

My heart is sad today to learn of Jim's passing he always made me laugh. When I would call for car service, he would always get me in right away. He would always take the time to talk, and heaven gain a great guy. My deepest condolences to the family. Know he is in a better place.
Dear Beloved Drinkwine family, Jim was one of those guys that was always there for kind and cordial words and everyone loved Jim. I always remember him as having a great sense of humor and ready to laugh and have fun at any moment life would throw at us. He was one of those bigger than life type of personalities. I want to send condolences to his large family and brothers as the void he leaves behind must be sad but rejoiced at the same time because he affected all our lives in so many positive ways. God speed Jimmy! Thomas Lee Bauer
Jim had such a beautiful heart. He was so loved. He will be greatly missed by us. Thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Back in 1988 ,I moved to Iron Ridge to begin a new job. I'm from northern Wisconsin, Eau Claire. I was told there was a family of Drinkwine's from Mayville I was surprised to hear this ! Well I met Jim and we hit it off. What a great guy! We talked about how we could be related and figured it out. Were 2nd cousins. We believe our great grandfathers sons ( my Grandfather is Arbor) were brothers! Jim and I would always spend time to catch up on our lives when we seen each other, usually at Tims auto parts. I will really miss him. Im going to stop in Friday and pay my respects to my 2nd cousin and more importantly my friend.
My condolences to Jims family with all my heart
Patrick C Drinkwine
Jim was one of the most genuinely selfless people I know. He was always there for others and trying to make someone else’s day better. He loved his children more than anything and was super proud of each one! He gleamed any time he would talk about them. They were his world! He had such a caring heart and made a difference in so many lives that he was a part of. He will be, and already is, greatly missed! The Lord took a good one from us, but we can continue to carry on Jim’s ways by being nonjudgemental, kind, and caring to others, just as he strived to be.
