James Earl Kopplin, 72, of rural Fall River died on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at his home after a brief illness. He was born on August 12, 1953 to Earl and Elizabeth (Cross) Kopplin at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Beaver Dam.
Jim is survived by three sisters: Linda (Richard) Ladwig and Sally Kopplin of Fall River and Jean (Tom) Dietz of Dickinson, ND; niece Jenny (Travis) Anderson and their son Parker of Fall River; two nephews: Dean (Rachel) Ladwig of Madison and Ben (Stephanie) Dietz and their children: Tyler and Grace of New Riegel, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
It was Jim’s wish that no formal services will be held. His cremated remains will be scattered on the Mighty Oaks Farm which has been in the Kopplin family since 1868.
