James Michael Lundy

James M. Lundy, Sr., age 65 of Waupun, died on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

The visitation will be at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Military honors will be presented by the Waupun American Legion Post #210, at the funeral home, at 5:45 PM. Cremation will follow.

James Michael Lundy, Sr. was born on April 26, 1944 in Buffalo, New York, to Lawrence and Elsie (Luther) Lundy. He entered the US Navy in 1961, during Vietnam War. Jim retired from the service in 1981 as a Staff Sergeant. On August 10, 1999, he was united in marriage with Victoria Herman in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Jim was a lifetime member of the Waupun VFW #6709 and the American Legion Post #210. He worked for several years as a supervisor at Willow Foods in Beaver Dam, retiring in 2004. Jim was a caring and well-liked man and he will be missed by his family and friends.

Jim is survived by his wife, Vickie Lundy of Waupun, his son, James M. Lundy, Jr. of Waupun, his grandchildren, Makayla, Morgan, and Mariah, other relatives and friends.
