James W. Kreuziger, age 95, of Beaver Dam, died on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Bay Harbor Assisted Living.
The visitation will be at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Beaver Dam on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Will Arnold officiating. Burial will be at Annunciation Catholic Cemetery in Randolph with military honors provided by the American Legion Post #146.
James William Kreuziger was born on January 4, 1928 in Clyman, Wisconsin to William and Rosella (Omara) Kreuziger. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth Jane Mc Cormick of Randolph, Wisconsin, at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church on October 12, 1957 by Rev. Robert Mc Cormick. Jim and Betty loved to travel and do winter vacations. They also had a passion for polka dancing.
James served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was stationed in Panama as a Specialist 3rd Class for the Army Engineers as a heavy equipment operator. Jim was a member of the American Legion Post #146. He farmed in the Beaver Dam area for over 40 years and then worked at Advance Products and Peter Seippel for over 20 years. Jim was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Fox Lake, where he ushered for many years. He was also a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam. Jim was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 50 years.
James is survived by his wife, Betty of Beaver Dam, with whom he shared almost 66 years of marriage; their children, John (Kelly) Kreuziger of Beaver Dam, Janet (Bob) Clancy of Seatle, WA, Lois Kreuziger of Beaver Dam, Tom (Michelle) Kreuziger of Cornelius, NC, and Ken Kreuziger of St. Nazianz; son-in-law, Wayne Moeller of Fox Lake; special friends, Ken and Chris Kiel of Franklin; grandchildren, Kevin (Marisa) Moeller of Oshkosh, Nickolas (Megan) Moeller of Fox Lake, David Kreuziger of Beaver Dam, Kathy (Adam) Maciejewski of Menomonee Falls, Conner Clancy of Boston, MA, Sutton Clancy of Los Angelas, CA, Angela Gutgesell of Beaver Dam, Dylan (Kaitlin) Etter of Houston, TX, Sasha (Anthony) MacCudden of Milwaukee, Kelly Kreuziger of Beaver Dam, Dale Kreuziger of Beaver Dam, Stacy Kreuziger of Whitewater, Kyle Kreuziger of Horicon, and Brittney Kreuziger of Horicon; great grandchildren, Mckayla Kreuziger, Letty Kreuziger, Emma Gutgesell, Stefhen Etter, Hadley Etter, Garret Moeller, Eli Moeller, Caiden Maciejewski, Madison Maciejewski, AJ MacCudden, and Mila MacCudden; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Helen Kreuziger of Horicon, Gail Mc Cormick of Sturgeon Bay, Mary White of Beaver Dam, William Mc Cormick of Edmond, OK, Dennis and Jane Mc Cormick of Beaver Dam, Nancy Schafer of Beaver Dam, Kathy and Tom Nickel of Middleton, Michael and Carol Mc Cormick, Jan Mc Cormick and Helen Kreuziger of Beaver Dam; cousin, John (June) Butterbrodt of Beaver Dam; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marion Moeller; brother, Donald Kreuziger; sisters, Evelyn Neis and Margaret Helms; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard Mc Cormick, Sharon Mc Cormick, Merv Schafer, Joseph and Anzannetta Mc Cormick, Donald Mc Cormick and Robert Mc Cormick.
