Jamey L. Shute, age 46, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Jamey Lee Shute was born on November 19, 1975 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Jeffrey and Terri (Halverson) Shute. After high school, Jamey attended Moraine Park Technical College and became a mechanic, working for Ernie Von Schledorn. He always was a car enthusiast and loved to take his children to car shows. Jamey was a bit of a “techy” and spent much of his time learning what he could about computers. He developed a passion for gardening in his later years too.
Jamey is survived by his children, Jarred Shute of Fox Lake and Megan Shute of Beaver Dam; grandson, Grayson Dutzle; mother, Terri (Don) Uherka of Horicon; sisters, Kelly Rubisch of West Bend and Tanya (Jim) Van Sommeran of West Bend; many aunts and uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Shute; and grandparents, Harold and Nathalie Shute and Dean and Shirley Mallon.

I was Jamey’s driver for the clinic and helped get him situated with his garden.Very sorry but his health problems were too much for him to overcome.Always in my thoughts!

I’ve only known Jamey for the past 10 years but he left a lasting impression! At first we didn’t like each other but that didn’t last long as we quickly became closer over the years! Although I now live over 1200 miles away we always dropped in on each other and left messages to keep some form of communication between us! Just a few months ago he wrote to tell me how proud of me, he was, for continuing towards my educational goal of getting into medical school and becoming a doctor! Now I know he’s watching over me and now I have someone in heaven to help ensure with continued guidance towards my goal to become a doctor! So I’m dedicating the effort I need to get into medical in Jamey’s name! Thanks brother, lost but never forgotten! Now you are in heaven with the rest of your BD buddies!
