There are no words. Jana touched so many lives, including my own. Her sense of humor, her smile, her caring will always be remembered. Her presence is gone, she will be missed, but she will not be forgotten. Hugs, prayers and sympathy to Bob, Hunter and Cassie.
I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to you.
Words will never be able to express what an outstanding individual Jana was. My heart is broken along with many, many others, I am numb and grief stricken over the loss of such a beloved niece. I haven't even started to write about what she meant to me and the tears are already flowing down my face. If you really wanted to know what Jana was all about, one would have to write many books about her life. Jana was such a loving and unique person. She was so instrumental in helping her Grandma Maxine as she aged and took excellent care of all her family, plus any other person needing help, She would do all this, before she would help herself. With her illness, Jana and I would occasionally text back and forth as she was deciding about treatment options with her illness. She texted me, "you are so awesome." I did get to respond back to her that I could only dream of being as awesome a person as she already was! Hearts will heal, but it will take a long time. She will never be forgotten. It is unbelievable how blessed we were to have her in our presence for 45 years. Remember this, God didn't have to give her to us, but God did! Remember the laughter, the smiles, the care for others, for being a nurse, marrying Bob, so he could be a part of our life, and giving us Cassie, and hunter. For without being blessed with Jana 45 years ago, none of us would have had her presence in our lives and the world would have missed out on the most precious things Jana gave to all of us - to live graciously and with humility Rest in peace Jana - for I know you will be watching and steering your family from the heavens! My deepest condolences to your family. I worked with Jana at WRMC in the ICU. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but she was probably the most kind nurse I ever worked with. At the time I was a new nurse & she provided me with guidance and shared her knowledge and experience to help me grow in this amazing profession. I hope you will find comfort in how many lives Jana touched in her time here on this earth. May her sweet soul rest easy in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
