Janice Gale Okon, age 69, or Horicon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
A memorial service for Janice will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church Brown’s Corner with Rev. Allen Behnke officiating. A visitation for Janice will be held at church on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow the service at St. John’s Cemetery Brown’s Corner.
Janice was born the daughter of George Jr. and Evelyn (Hoke) Okon in 1955, in Beaver Dam. Janice was a graduate of Horicon High School and worked for 41 years at Mayville Engineering Company (MEC).
Janice was a faithful member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church Brown’s Corner. She enjoyed cheering on and watching all of the Wisconsin sports teams.
Janice is survived by her sister Dyanne Hartwig and her brother Allen Okon. Janice is further survived and deeply missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
