Jeanette M. Wittnebel, 89, of Beaver Dam passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at UW Hospital in Madison.
Jeanette was born on November 4, 1934 in Beaver Dam to Edward and Viola (Huebner) Krenz. She was married to Roger Wittnebel on May 14, 1955 at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She was employed at the Weyenberg Shoe Factory in Beaver Dam for 20 years as well as various area jobs.
Jeanette was a lifelong member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She loved going out to eat at many different restaurants. She enjoyed completing puzzles and plastic canvas projects. Jeanette loved watching any type of sporting event. In her earlier years, she and Roger enjoyed bowling and attending Packer games. Jeanette loved spending time with her great grandchildren.
Jeanette is survived by her daughter-in-law Debbie Wittnebel of Beaver Dam; three grandchildren: Jamie (Stacy) Wittnebel, Scott (Kelly) Wittnebel, and Tammy (Juan) Balleza all of Beaver Dam; 10 great grandchildren: Autumn (Nate) Sell, Juan Balleza Jr., Rosella Balleza, Kylie Wittnebel, Alexander Wittnebel, Gavin Wittnebel, Mason Wittnebel, Benjamin Wittnebel, Liliana Balleza, and Azalea-Jo Balleza; and one great-great grandson Carson Lang.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roger; son Jerry; and brother Warren Krenz.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 12 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. Rev. Philip Heyer will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, township of Trenton at a later date.
