Jean M. “Jeannie” Cears, 64, of Lomira passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac surrounded by her family.
Jeannie was born on June 4, 1958 in Milwaukee to Wayne and Shirley (Contois) Bloomer. She was married to Robert Cears who preceded her in death. Jeannie was employed most recently as a CNA with the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam. She previously helped work for her mother’s family business. Jeannie had the biggest heart. She was caring and selfless and was everyone’s best friend.
Cliché to say, gone to soon, but holds to be true.
In the shortness of the time we’ve had and the time to process, we find strength within.
In the times of heart heavy sorrow we find the strength to grasp onto the graciousness of positivity.
We see the positive in suffering in pain no longer. We hear the reassuring silence of peace that overcomes the body and the spirit.
We feel the emotions of contentment as she is reunited with her son, her twin daughters, her husband, her mother and her brother.
But most importantly through all the present senses, we need to hold onto the past.
We need to hold tight to all the laughs, tears and life’s everyday moments in our memories.
The everlasting memories draw out the sorrow in our hearts and fill it with love.
Jeannie is survived by her son Jacob (Tiffany) Kalmus of Columbus; daughter Linda Morales of Beaver Dam; grandchildren: Jacob Jr., Elizabeth, Hope, Jayden (Mireya), Alexa, Chloe, Brielle, and Luca; great grandchildren: Armani and Eloisa; siblings: Vickie (Kenneth) Keller, Ronald Bloomer and Dawn Romano-Bloomer; nieces and nephews: Aaron Keller, Anissa Keller, Sandy Bloomer, and Dylan (Regina) Bloomer; great niece and nephew: Levi and Evangeline; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bob; son Benjamin; twin daughters: Miranda and Mariah; and her brother Kenneth Bloomer.
It was Jeannie’s wish that cremation take place and a private family celebration of life take place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. A GoFundMe account is set up to help pay for her funeral expenses. https://www.gofundme.com/f/jeannie-cears?utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer
