Joan Alice (Umbs) Anderson, born August 29, 1937, to Walter and Alice (Johnson) Umbs, died on October 1, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam, at the age of 71.

A visitation will be held at the Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, October 6, 2008 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Valhalla Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Joan is survived by her husband, Donald A. Anderson, Beaver Dam, her sister, Patricia Urbaniak, Milwaukee, a brother, Barry Umbs, Franklin, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald.
