Mary Verberkmoes left a message on January 17, 2008:

John (I never knew him as Jack) went to grade school and high school together. But what I remember most about him was how he used to help my aunt when my uncle was stricken with lung cancer. John lived across the street from my Uncle Norb in Beaver Dam and when Norb was ill with lung cancer, he would come over and help his wife Cathy with him. That was a very unselfish act and one I remember even after all this time. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Mary L. (Gocker) Verberkmoes
