John “Jack” P. Belisle

John P. Belisle, age 90, of Iron Ridge, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Crossroads Care Center in Fond du Lac.

The visitation will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Monday, September 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. and burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Horicon. Military Honors will be provided by the Horicon American Legion.

John Patrick was born on July 19, 1933 in northern Michigan to Elmer and Adeline (Anderson) Belisle. He was united in marriage to Nancy Lieber on November 7, 1953 in Cudahy, Wisconsin. He proudly served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War. John had many jobs throughout his life; he worked in a few factories, was a truck driver, and worked as a roofer, while he operated a dairy farm too. He retired in 2010 and enjoyed spending time bowling and fishing. John especially liked to go dancing with his sweetheart throughout the Dodge County area and surrounding areas.

John is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons, David (Donna), Mark, and Gregg; daughters, Joy (Jeff) Wilson and Lynn (Rob) Beck; grandchildren Nicole (Jonathon) Tanksley, Dylan (Erin) Wilson, Jesse (Jennifer) Wilson, Shayna (Mike) Nelson, Miranda Zuege, Davey Stange, and Jeff Stange; great grandchildren, Hunter Menefee, Harlea Menefee, Jaelyn Menefee, Jonny Tanksley, Joenna Wilson, Grace Hanson, Claire Wilson, Gavin Nelson, and Brock Nelson; siblings, Jeff Belisle and Virgina Montbriand; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandsons, Nicholas Beck and David Belisle, Jr.; sister, Louise Miller; and brothers, Joseph and James Belisle.
