Jonathan Glenn Gilbert, age 86, of Kekoskee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Monday August 18, 2025, at his home.
A Graveside Committal Service for Jonathan will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Kekoskee Cemetery in Kekoskee.
Jonathan was born the son of Milford and Violet (Miller) Gilbert on May 30, 1939. He was a graduate of Marshfield High School.
Jonathan worked for Metal Craft for many years and later retired after 45 years. He was an avid golfer and long-term member of the Mayville Golf Course. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and hunting, as well as spending quality time with his family.
Jonathan is survived by his children: Tracy (Kristin) Gilbert, Melissa Jones, and Stacy Jones; daughter-in-law: Anna Jones; grandchildren: Jacob, Austyn, Tyler, Shannon, Kayla, and Emery; three great- grandchildren; siblings: Nathan (Alice) Gilbert, Philip (Sharon) Gilbert, Neiel (Jewel) Gilbert, Dale (Kathy) Gilbert, Janet (Jim) Waldner, Ruth Bruesewitz, and Debbie Gilbert; and sister-in-law: Minnie Gilbert. Jonathan is further survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his parents; his son Kelly Gilbert; his brother Allen Gilbert; and brother-in-law Fred Bruesewitz.
