FALL RIVER-Joseph Allen Schade, 69, passed away on February 23, 2024.
Joseph was born November 7, 1954, the son of Reuben and Elsie (Bartlet) Schade in Columbus, Wisconsin. He lived his whole life outside of Fall River in a home his parents constructed.
A kind and true gentleman, Joe grew up with two sisters Julia Lince and Ruth McDonald and two brothers Willard (Carol) Schade and William (Cindy) Schade. He would not tolerate bullies and violence against females. Because of the love of family he learned at home, he became a family man in 1975 by marrying Teresa Przekurat. Together they raised three sons, Christopher (Lisa) Przekurat, Chad (Cathy) Schade and Craig (Dawn) Schade.
Joe worked for over 20 years as a sewing machine maintenance man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing baseball and cars. In 1994, sadly Teresa passed away. In 1996, he met and married Nancy (Hahn) Lee. Joe then claimed six more step-children with minimal effort: Ethan (Tina Garrett) Lee, Penny (Tony) Lince, Jordan (Tara) Lee, Andrew (Maggie Mary) Lee, Cory (Amanda) Lee and Ocean (Paul) Timmermans. The two families gave him 19 grandchildren/step grandchildren and 1 step great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Teresa, his brother Willard, brother-in-law Gary Lince, nephew Justin Schade, step-daughter Tamara Lee and step grandson Mitchell Lee.
Joe was loved my many and will be deeply missed.
A memorial gathering for Joe will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Fall River Cemetery where Joe will be laid to rest next to his first wife Teresa.
