Judith A. Smith

Judith Ann Smith, 88, passed away on September 18, 2026, at Dimensions Living in Jefferson.

Graveside services for Judith will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville.

Judith was born on January 11, 1938, to Leslie and Olga (Retzlaff) Smith. She was a graduate of Mayville High School.

Judith was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Church in Mayville, where her faith and community were an important part of her life. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent an impressive 40 years working at Green Valley in Beaver Dam, where she built lasting friendships and became a familiar and valued part of the workplace.

Judith found joy in the simple things in life. She loved playing bingo, cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers, and spending time with her family. She especially treasured the time she shared with those closest to her. Judith also enjoyed being outside and making memories with her loved ones.

Judith will be remembered for the love she gave to her family, her strong work ethic, her faith, and the many happy memories she created throughout her life. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Judith is survived by her niece Jill (Jerry) Genzmer; her nephew Dick Smith; her great-nieces Emily (Matt) Schliewe and Shelby Genzmer; and her great grand-nephew Knox; as well as other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Shirley Schraugnagel; and her brothers Ralph and Leslie Smith.
