Judith M. Milbrandt, 63 years of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison after suffering a massive stroke.

A private family burial service will take place at Bethany Cemetery in the Town of Calamus, Wisconsin.

Judy was born on June 6, 1945 in Beaver Dam. Her parents were Roland and Delores (Schwartz) Schroeder, who were farmers in the Town of Calamus for many years. Judy was a graduate of Fall River High School. In 1970, she married Donald Milbrandt. Judy retired from Kraft Foods in 2004, where she had been a Lab Technician for 40 years.

Judy was an avid reader and she loved to knit and embroider. She spent countless hours knitting mittens and hats for needy children in Dodge Country. Judy will always be remembered for her support for her brother, Bob.

Judy is survived by her brother, Robert (Karen) Schroeder of Fox Lake; her special cousin, Betty Johnson of Palm Harbor, Florida; her brother-in-law, Martin Milbrandt of Beaver Dam; her dog, Bernice; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2001 and her Mother and Father.
