Judy Ann Krueger

Judy Ann (Schmidt) Krueger, age 78, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2023, at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Judy was born on August 11, 1945, to the late Walter Ewald and Norma Bertha (Hartwig) Schmidt in Beaver Dam. On September 21, 1968, she married Richard “Dick” Krueger. Judy worked seasonally at Green Giant for many years but was mostly a homemaker who loved playing bingo with family and friends.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Joel) Halverson of Stoughton, her granddaughters Abby Guthrie of Madison; Bekah (Zach) Eichhorst of Stevens Point; step-granddaughters, Madeline and Charlotte Halverson, of Madison; her brother, James Birkholz of Beaver Dam; and her sister, June (Harvey) Martin of Waupun. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Norma; her husband, Dick; her brother, John Schmidt; and her sister, Joanne Bauer.

Friends and family may gather on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Highland Memory Gardens, N9782 Hwy 151, Beaver Dam, WI 53916 for a burial service to be held at 1:30 p.m. Rev. David Cooper will officiate.
