Kathy Lee Boeck, age 54, of Juneau, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Kathy’s family will come together to celebrate her life at a later date.
Kathy was born the daughter of David and Rose (Machkovitz) Hoefs on November 6, 1971.
Growing up, Kathy dreamed of one day becoming a police officer. Once she started to take care of her grandma, she realized her love of caring for others. This led Kathy to receive her associate’s degree in nursing. She worked for many years as an LPN. Currently, Kathy was an executive director at an assisted living facility.
Kathy had a competitive side and often pushed her body to the limits in triathlons and running 5k’s. She lit up every room she walked into and was loved by so many people. She was always kind and willing to help others no matter what.
Kathy is survived by her husband Brian Boeck; her daughters Brianna (Seigo A. Medellin Castillo)Boeck and Marissa (Elijah Davis) Boeck; her parents: David and Rose Hoefs; her brothers: Kenny (Cindy) Hoefs and Keith (Becky) Hoefs; mother-in-law: Susan Boeck; siblings-in-law: Kevin (Kim) Boeck and Mike (Rachel) Drake; dear nieces and nephews: Jesse (Marguerite) Rahn, Kayla (Bert Clover) Hoefs, Austin (Lacey) Hoefs, Dusty (Riley) Hoefs, Katie (Collin) Peterson, Alissa (Max) Schmidt, Ashley (Sheldon) Smith, Erin (Jared) Pethan, Mandy “Ging” (Douglas Finstad) Boeck, and Lydia (Jack) Leffel; great nieces and nephews: Haley, Payton, Beckham, Knox, and Avery; Godchildren: Katie Peterson, Austin Hoefs, and Serenity Mahoney. Kathy is further survived by many dear friends who became family.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father-in-law Art Boeck.
Kathy’s memory will be held close and carried forward by those who loved her most. Her spirit will continue to live on in the lives she so beautifully impacted.
