Thinking of Kayla's family today.
i miss you mommy
How very sorry I was to find out about Kayla. Worked with her for many years at Clearview, she was always smiling or joking around and made things light and fun. Barb, and family your in my thoughts and prayers.
Barb, My deepest sympathy on the loss of your daughter. I only knew her when she was in grade school and knew she was a lovely person way back then. Joanne Starry, RN
Kayla was a very, very special friend to me when we were younger. Some of my biggest laughs of life stemmed from Kayla's humor and laughter! I loved her. Kayla's family and friends are in my thoughts.
The measure of a person, in part, may be reflected by those who speak to what that person meant to them, after they're gone. The incredible outpouring of people who came to show their respects to Kayla's family yesterday was amazing! Kayla had an impact on all who knew her; you couldn't help but be affected by her. That incredible smile. That wonderful laugh. How could you not enjoy Kayla? Everyone you talk to about Kayla mentions those things about Kayla that they will never forget. And, everyone who knew her knows her as such a strong person. And yet, those who knew her well, know she had a very soft side too. It was a gift to know her. We will all miss her. My thoughts and prayers to Kayla's family.
First time i met kayla was at the beaver dam roller rink and she by far was one of the best out there on the floor. Since then there is alot of memories till i moved down south. I don't know your family at all, yet I know all too well the shock, pain and grief that you are finding yourselves in. You see, our family JUST said "See you Later" to our 38 year old son and the pain is so "over the top" at times. The hope that we have in Jesus is what is carrying us through so many moments these days. We will forever love and never forget our precious son, yet KNOWING that Jesus has it in control, EVEN WHEN WE DO NOT, helps us carry the pain. Yes, the tears fall like oceans and our hearts feel like they are going to explode and we LONG TO HOLD HIM JUST ONE MORE TIME..........all those pieces are so real. I wake up in the middle of the night and just miss him. Please know that I am holding your family in my heart and prayers as someone I don't even know has lost someone they loved so very very much. If you ever want to talk or just call and say HELLO, I would be honored to pray with you, care for you and we will keep you in our prayers as the days go on. For whatever reason, I am writing this, God only knows. JoAnne Van Wormer..........a mom of a son gone on before her
